Remediating Client Files: Where to Start?

In our previous blog post, we discussed the importance of keeping your client files organized at all times. But what do you do when your files are in disarray? Allow us to explain!

Step 1: Evaluate the Quality of Current Client Files  
To determine which files need updating and in what capacity, it's crucial to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the quality of your current client files. This information will enable you to request the right data from the appropriate sources. For instance, older files may still contain driver's licenses, which may no longer be sufficient in today's context. 
Step 2: Prioritize Your Efforts  
As with any large project, setting priorities is essential. You may choose to prioritize the most critical client files and focus your remediation efforts on areas that have the most significant impact on your business(es). You can base this prioritization on a risk analysis or the age of the client files, for example. 
Step 3: Leverage Technology  
While you could manually request updated information from all your clients, this would be time-consuming and unlikely to improve your conversion rate, not to mention the negative impact on customer experience. Therefore, it's wise to make strategic use of technology. Consider, for instance, ID repair, which allows individuals to provide all the necessary information securely within their digital client file. 
Step 4: Communicate Clearly with Your Clients  
To maximize your conversion rate, it's crucial to communicate clearly with your clients. Clearly explain why they need to provide their information again, and assure them that the process is secure.
